We Love Chemistry 353

Ah, Organic Chemistry Lab. This potentially could be the two most crappiest parts of my week, but they're not. Luckily I get to take this along with some of my favourite people: Michael, Amy, and Cameron. As pictured above, we've recently been meeting in the fish bowl before class to wrap any lab write ups or prepare for the weekly quiz. It definitely helps, but also serves a great distraction. For example, today's conversation ended up with someone related to a love lives, but began with talking about inner thigh chafing. I'd explain the whole conversation, but I think anyone can logically see how we made this connection.

However, in lab we are nothing but business. For example, today when we were making our chromatography columns we had to whack them with a rubber hose. It was pure professionalism the enter time. Wait... is professionalism another word for our minds being in the gutter? I blame Michael for starting it all when he asked Amy to whack his column. We're at BYU for crying out loud! To be fair though it was an innocent comment that turned out to be a MASSIVE innuendo while we were doing this. Then for some reason everything after that turned into innuendo. It was like an innuendo-fest. And please believe me, we are very clean minded people but it turns out that even things like Amy's "Does anyone else want to do this?" and my response "But Amy you're good at it" turned into a massive laugh-fest. Have I attached "fest" on to too many words?

Intermix this with Asian jokes, Amy's constant flirting with me and Michael, seriously Amy it's starting to look desperate, and our absolute mastery of organic chemistry and you got yourself a nice stew... I mean class...fest. Plus we look dang good in goggles.
